THE WALL<\/span><\/p>\n

i did a terrible thing!<\/p>\n

! buiit the wali! it is high and wide and long And stranger still it is silence.<\/p>\n

I know – for brick by brick ! raised the wall around me And closed myself away.<\/p>\n

The wali is structured With seam’pps time I cannot grasp it I cannot tea< .1 down,<\/p>\n

The fool I am says,<\/p>\n

It is not there.<\/p>\n

But I know the wail Is high and wide and long.<\/p>\n

For bricks I used the peace i gathered in her arms Thinking peace was mine forever.<\/p>\n

Then I sacrificed our love For solid stones to stand As the substance of the wall.<\/p>\n

Now I have nothing but the wall And silence.<\/p>\n

What a terrible thing to know It was I<\/p>\n

Who built the wall!<\/p>\n

Ho fatto una cosa terribile!<\/p>\n

Ho costruito un muro!<\/p>\n
